We are pleased to inform you that a new Call for Projects within the framework of the UNESCO-Aschberg Programme for Artists and Cultural Professionals has been launched.
The mission of the UNESCO-Aschberg programme is to improve the social and economic protection of artists, decent employment and the balanced circulation of cultural goods and services. Under the title “Technical Assistance for the protection and the promotion of the status of artists and cultural professionals”, the Call is addressed to Governmental and national institutions or civil society organisations with the aim of assisting policy makers in adapting and/or creating policies, laws, regulations, or measures protecting and promoting the status of the artist and cultural professionals in line with the Objectives of the 2005 Convention and the 1980 Recommendation concerning the Status of the artist.
Four types of activities are eligible (legal or regulatory reforms, research, training, communication/advocacy), which have been outlined in the attached Call for Projects.
