Thank you to all Guild members and supporters who liked, shared, retweeted, commented and engaged with our online presence during the York Mystery Plays 2018. From individuals to organisations, you made us feel very welcome as we participated for the first time. (click here to view our video interview with Roger Lee about the Mystery Plays)
Special thanks to the team behind the Mystery Plays, our director, Tom and all the cast and crew along with court members who supported our play.
We asked for your help and you responded
eWe're so pleased to see the community growing and responding to call outs to help the Guild. All court members are volunteers, so anything we do is carefully fit in and comes from a place of passion for York. This is why your support at events and on projects we're supporting is so valued and the more we work together, the stronger we are.
Thanks to the Lord Mayor for our Top Tweet
Please forgive the sensational headline, as it's down to everyone who helped us hit a 3.6% boost in engagement on the Mystery Plays performance days and 36 RTs of our posts. Ann did speak to the Lord Mayor about our involvement. Watch the video here.
This is what the Guild of Media Arts is all about: community, sharing and engagement. We hope to see you out and about more often. Keep sending us your information about events and inviting us along.
Engagement Boosted By Community Engagement
From The Minster to Fleetways Taxis, York Theatre Royal Choir, The Merchent Adventurers Hall, Bedern Hall, Carluccios, Visit York, York Walls and SO many individuals from councillors to artists, historians, photographers and beyond, we achieved 12,262 impressions from 20 tweets, 106 likes during the Mystery Plays.
See you at the next big event: York Mediale
Taking place from 27th Sept - 6th Oct, York Mediale is a brand new Media Arts festival for York (view schedule). During Mediale York will host a meeting of the world's Media Arts cities. We'll be giving you the chance to meet them and exchange ideas.
