Refreshed website, New Roles open for Application, NOW! (Deadline 30th Nov 19)

Connecting York to the world: join the Guild of Media Arts to make your mark on York's Creative Community.

As the Guild of Media Arts ventures into 2020 and the end of term for some fantastic court members, we've worked to simplify and clarify our website with fewer pages, easier to find content and a series of roles to fill - we'd be thrilled to have you.

Moving forward, over the next two years, we are aiming to bolster our efforts in what we do and are looking to recruit new court members who can help shape the Guild.

If you're passionate about York's Creative Sector and you have some availability to work with us, we'd really like to hear from you. Some of our work includes:

  • Increasing the profile of the Guild of Media Arts with members and key stakeholders

  • Strengthening our relationships locally, regionally and internationally

  • Sharing opportunities from our UNESCO Creative Cities Network with members

  • Organising and running events

  • Regular communications with members including social media and newsletters

If you feel you could support the Guild with any of the above, or have expertise in areas you would want to work with us on developing, get in touch to discuss how you could get involved.

  • Incorporated all applications to one form

  • Website reduced to 6 pages, using anchors to navigate pages

  • -Combined and added to 'what we do page' to make our connections more transparent

  • Simplified our 'membership' information

  • Made the logo more accessible (please use - we want you to be proud of our network)

  • Added FAQ for membership

  • Migrated from Mailchimp to Wix newsletters, centralising membership contact
